Kidada Hawkins has been named Chief Executive Officer of Shoals Hospital. His tenure at Shoals Hospital will begin September 21, 2015. A native Alabamian, Kidada received his B.S. in Biology from Morehouse College in Atlanta and his dual Master’s in Healthcare Administration and Business at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. Kidada and his wife, Kia, have a daughter, Alahna, who is four, and a son, Houston, who is 6 months old. He is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives and has served in key leadership roles for community and service in every city where he has led hospitals. When not at the office, Kidada spends time with his family, and he enjoys traveling, gardening, and reading.
Rebekah Logan has been named Chief Nursing Officer of Shoals Hospital with her tenure beginning December 28, 2015. Rebekah received her Associate in Science in Nursing in Phil Campbell Alabama, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clayton State College in Morrow Georgia, and a Masters of Science in Nursing Administration from Georgia College in Milledgeville, Georgia. Rebekah has served in executive hospital leadership roles as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Nursing Officer for the past 18 years with Tenet Healthcare, Lifepoint Hospitals, and most recently with DCH Health System in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Rebekah enjoys blues music, horses, college football, and is active in animal rescue. She is the proud mother of 2 sons and the joyful grandmother of her first grandson.
Bradley Boggus, the Chief Financial Officer, has worked at Shoals Hospital since July 2015. Bradley previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Clinton Memorial Hospital and has been affiliated with RegionalCare Hospital Partners since February 2011. Prior to joining RegionalCare Hospital Partners, Bradley served as Chief Financial Officer, Assistant CFO, and Controller at various LifePoint Health hospitals beginning in September 2000. Bradley has also served in various financial roles at HCA before joining LifePoint Health. Bradley and his wife, Amy, have three children. Their oldest son, Charlie, is enrolled at The Ohio State University, while Ben and Kate attend Florence High School. Bradley enjoys music, spending time outdoors, cooking, and spending time with his family.
Nancy Bowling, the Human Resources Director, has worked at Shoals Hospital since January of 2003. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Mississippi and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Alabama. Nancy worked in human resources at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, Ala., from December 1997 through January of 2003. When not working, Nancy and her husband, Jeff, enjoy cooking, boating, and watching college football with family and friends.
Beth Loften is the Chief Quality Officer, Risk Manager and Patient Safety officer for Shoals Hospital. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of North Alabama graduating in December 1989. She worked at ECM Hospital beginning in 1991-2011 with most of her experience being in Cardiac Critical Care, education roles and performance improvement. She joined the Shoals team in January 2011. She is married to Eddie Loften and has two daughters, Hannah and Sarah Kate. Outside of work Beth enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
